To accompany this website, National Historic Ships UK has developed a small pop-up exhibition which will be touring around the country from November 2015. The display takes the form of three double-sided panels, with an accompanying 5 minute silent film played on a monitor fitted to the central panel. It is easy to erect at all sites and comes in a protective wrapper ensuring safe transit. An optional plinth on which to stand the display is also available, depending on the size of venue and height of the room.
For the duration of the WW1 Centenary and subject to availability, the exhibition can be booked by museums, heritage organisations, historic vessel owners and other interested parties for events, as a temporary display, or to signpost other WW1 activities. The exhibition is free of charge, but host venues are requested to cover transport costs. If you are interested in hosting this exhibition, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
